Although we're not sure how you manage to do this, the fashion designer clearly thought he was sending a private sext (or Direct Message on Instagram), not for all his 200k followers to peep over.

But instead the 52-year-old made a HUGE error as his image - also showing off his naked derrière, was cheekily captioned: "It's yours to try." (Achem, how naughty).

By the time Marc realised his mistake, it was far, far too late as a fan had sent the image to Gawker.com.

However when Marc, who split from porn star boyfriend Harry Louis in 2013, did catch on to what he'd done, he swiftly deleted the shot.

Always make sure a direct messages stays a direct message, Marc.
