It’s the story that keeps on giving: on Monday, footage showing Paris Hilton screaming on an erratically flown plane, convinced she was about to die, was unleashed on the internet, and everyone thought it was a really cruel trick.

Then yesterday we learned how Paris had lawyered up and was getting ready to sue the organisers of the prank, Egyptian TV show Ramez In Control, for emotional distress.

TODAY TMZ reveals they’ve got evidence to suggest Paris was actually in on the joke the whole time… though we’re not convinced. Like, at all.

TMZ claims to have been shown a document created by the TV production company that it says was sent to the reps of loads of celebrities in March. The document essentially sets out the terms of the prank and offers the celebs cash to participate in it. Loads of cash. Around the million dollars mark.

“We will act as if something is going wrong and ask all passengers to jump off the plane!!! Of course everyone will panic, we'll be having skydivers in disguise with us on board,” this document reportedly says, although any official document with three exclamation marks on it wouldn’t pass muster with heatworld’s lawyers, that’s for sure.

“We will monitor the funny reactions from our celebrity guest when they fear jumping off the plane.”

Later, when Paris was spotted out in Beverly Hills, a cameraman asked her how she felt about the stunt now, and she said: “I think they went a little too far with their prank.”

What does that meeeean? We’re still choosing to believe Paris was completely in the dark about it. After all, anyone who’s seen The Simple Life knows Paris can’t act for s**t.
