A photo of Princess Diana and Kate Middleton cooing over Princess Charlotte has gone viral.

The picture was put together by Lori Vi Eastwood as a tribute to the royals. The original image added the caption: "A mother's love... lasts forever". The image has since been shared almost 300,000 times.

    The Photoshopped picture of Prince Diana, who tragically died in 1997, is taken from that same year when she walked through the Bronx in New York and met Mother Teresa. Meanwhile the image of Kate comes from Charlotte's christening day.

    One user wrote on Facebook: "OMGoodness, this is awesome...I bet she was there just like that, she just couldn't be seen with the naked eye. A true Princess Lady Diana gone but not forgotten."

    While another wasn't as keen and put: "I like this, but this is a little weird" and another wrote: "Very poor to use the dead in such a depiction".
