Reality romance between lovebirds Marnie Simpson and Ricky Rayment is over and the Geordie Shore brunette is feeling very miserable about it.
The pair, who have been dating for 6 months, were so loved-up that they recently revealed they were considering getting hitched as early as next year. After suspecting his girlfriend was being unfaithful, Ricky has called off the relationship and Marnie is gutted.
The 22-year-old took to Twitter to share her devastation tweeting that her ‘heart is broken’ followed by the cracked heart emoji. A sure sign that she is genuinely upset, right?
Both Marnie and Ricky have also unfollowed each other (MAJOR) and removed details of the other from their social media bios.
A source told The Mirror that ex-TOWIE star Ricky, who was previously engaged to Jessica Wright, got suspicious after seeing pictures of Marnie out with a male friend, minus her engagement ring.
“He strongly believes she cheated on him and they have been rowing since then.”
Marnie tweeted that she was just friends with the bloke, who turned out to be Ex On The Beach star Marty McKenna, and said the reason she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring was because she didn’t want to lose it.
Despite Marnie’s adamant claims she hasn’t cheated, Ricky has stuck to his guns and even attended a personal appearance in Brighton without her, even though she was billed to be there.
