Our fave ginger person in the world has just debuted his new tattoo on Instagram. It’s a tattoo of what we can only assume is his spirit animal, because it’s a BIG Lion.
And this is no delicate, petite number, as the wild cat takes up his ENTIRE chest.
The Bloodstream singer captioned the pic: “Halfway and ouch.”
That’s right, there’s more to come. Stay tuned for part two people!
Ed said he would get a tattoo of the lion to celebrate his sold out Wembley arena tour, saying how he chose a lion to represent the England football team’s logo. "Originally I was going to get the floor plan tattooed on my side, but that seemed a bit ridiculous," he told the BBC before his opening show.
We're just not sure what we think of it just yet. But to be fair, it's only half way through, so we will wait to see the finished product.
Ed’s no stranger to a bit of ink. He’s got a sleeve on his left arm which acts like a Pinterest board marking his hit singles, favourite places and achievements, as well as a phoenix on his other arm, and tats dedicated to musical pals such as Taylor Swift and Harry Styles.
