Liam Payne: ‘There are people who think Louis getting Briana pregnant is fake – that’s the sh*t that gets to me’

Ever since the ‘Louis Tomlinson is going to be a dad’ bombshell hit, some One Direction fans just haven’t been able to comprehend the news. In fact, some of them are convinced it’s a fake and that the mother of Louis’ baby, Briana Jungwirth, and the story of her baby is a cover up for something else. What? Who knows. We're absolutely clueless too.

And, for the first time, Liam Payne has addressed the rumours and admitted it's frustrating to hear people claiming it’s untrue.

“[Louis’] very happy about becoming a dad,” Liam told Attitude. “But…there are some people out there who think Louis getting Briana pregnant is fake.

“That it’s not real, it’s a cover up. And that’s the sort of shit that gets to me. But you have to hold your tongue and that’s fine. I mean, it’s not really my business anyway.”

That’s very true but, we can imagine how annoying it must get.

In the interview, Liam also opened up about his long term girlfriend Sophia Smith and revealed that they still think they’re too young to wed.

“The first time our eyes met I fell in love,” Liam says. “We have talked about marriage but 22 seems a bit young for us. And Sophia needs to go off and do what she wants to do.

“I won’t stop her from doing that. I don’t want her to be one of those stay at home girlfriends who doesn’t really do much. She has amazing ideas and is great at what she does. She’s into her fashion and has organised a charity event recently that raised £350,000.”
