X Factor’s 4th Power ‘at centre of jealousy storm as contestants fight for place on show’

Uh oh!

Fourth Power X Factor

We’re used to hearing about the odd X Factor spat between the judges but it seems things may be a little different this year – the contestants have reportedly already turned against each other.

Girl group 4th Power are said to have been on the receiving end of heavy criticism from other hopefuls who think they are being given special treatment by Simon Cowell.

The band impressed the music boss and his fellow judges at their original audition but things could change during tonight’s episode which will see auditionees take part in the six-chair challenge, with a source claiming the negativity created issues when it came to taping the next round.

The insider told The Sun on Sunday: “There was a lot of bitching going on between contestants, and much of it was directed towards the 4th Power girls.

“It was felt by some that they were Simon Cowell’s favourites, and that attracted jealousy from singers who weren’t confident of their places.

“Others thought that the group shouldn’t have been there at all, as they weren’t from the UK and had already competed a lot in the Philippines.

“There were quite a few barbed remarks that the girls shouldn’t have been there. And those kind of spats are not helpful when it comes to filming.”

They added: “Tensions always run high at boot camp, and throughout the show, so the last thing singers need is extra stress on them.

“Unfortunately, that’s what all of this bitching created.”

Ouch!

Poor Rita must've accidentally got stuck in a door or been attacked by a pack of dogs on the way to the auditions. We can think of no other possible explanation for that missing sleeve
