Mr Robot: Christian Slater

Christian Slater, possessor of the world’s most sexual eyebrows and the sentient being’s choice of 90s crush has made a very exciting announcement.

He wants a part in Star Wars.

OK, it’s not quite as exciting as an announcement of e.g. Pump Up The Volume II, or Young Guns III – although these days it’d have to be Kinda Middle-aged Guns, despite heat not aging a day. Still, it’s pretty, pretty exciting news.

More news!

Christian, who gave us all the feelings in True Romance, Mobsters and, OMGerd Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, is currently starring in TV series Mr. Robot which is showing on Amazon Prime because we are living in the future now.

And his desire to wave his light-sabre about in a galaxy far, far away is an effort to impress his son. Aww.

"There is nothing I can do to make my children see me as being cool", Christian said, demonstrating that his kids are fools.

"My son is watching Archer and he has caught up to the season where I had a small part. My wife told me he is secretly enjoying seeing me in that, but he would never tell me himself.

"Nothing I do will ever be cool. Unless I was in Star Wars,” Christian, who is still a total hunkboat, told Radio Times.

What's that you say? You'd like to watch a trailer for Mr. Robot? You can. Now!

And now here’s a picture of Rik Mayall, Christian Slater and Alan Rickman. Because, frankly, why not?
