Waaaay back in the olden days, when everything was in black and white (2004 - 2014), we always felt a bit sorry for the X Factor group that had Louis Walsh as a mentor.
Not because of Louis’s powess as a judge - two words: Shayne Ward - but because his gang always got the worst of the deal when it came to judges’ houses.
While Simon Cowell’s singers would jet off to e.g. Barbados and swan around with e.g. Sinitta, Louis’s lot went to Ireland, probably on the ferry, and hung around in the rain with a disenchanted Boyzone.
And it looked as though the CURSE of being the judge who’s not Simon had struck again, with Nick’s boys heading to glamorous (not glamorous) Manchester for a weekend.
This may or may not be Nick’s house in Manchester but we’re almost sure it’s Nick’s tummy:
But the boys could now be heading to a little more glamorous destination: Paris.
Will it be enough to tempt Tom Bleasby back?
Nah. But it might make Grimmy’s gang feel a little less hard done by: Simon’s off to the South of France with the Overs, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is taking the Groups to Rome and Rita’s jetting the Girls to LA, of course she is.
And will Nick replicate his exact Manchester house on the Champs-Elysee? We live in ‘ope.
