If there’s anything that Adele is known for other than her insanely superhuman vocal chords, it’s her forever-manicured talons.
And we’ve finally got some inside info on how to steal her perfectly painted look, all thanks to Celebrity Manicurist Kimmie Kyees (has previously manicured Khloe K, J Lo AND Rihanna, FYI) who did Adele’s nails for her recent Saturday Night Live AND Jimmy Fallon appearances.
The first look showed Adele’s stylish side as she opted for a new nail trend on Saturday Night Live when she had her under nails painted in shimmer – and it looked FAB!
Manicurist Kimmie said, “I used Red Carpet Manicure nail products for this look. The first colour that I went for on the nail is called ‘Expresso Yourself’, £12.95 and is a gel formula that I left to cure under an LED lamp. I then coated the tips of the nails in glitter to create the graduated sparkly effect and then applied Red Carpet Manicure’s nail lacquer in ‘Mink Coat’ to the under nail. Painting the under nails completely vamps up the glamour of any look”.
And as if we weren’t already rushing to buy the prods to recreate this look, Adele then stepped out with yet ANOTHER ridiculously gorge and very on-trend nail design, created by Kimmie.
“At first I placed Vinyl Quickies (stencil tape) over Adele’s nails where she wanted to create the negative space," Kimmie said.
"I then applied Red Carpet Manicure Red Carpet Ready gel Polish in ‘Runway Strut’, £15.95 and cured under an LED light for 45 seconds before gently removing the Vinyl Quickie. No top coat or dry time necessary!”
