Anton Stephans is NOT a happy bunny – The X Factor hopeful has hit out at critics and their “ugly” comments in a HUGE Twitter rant after he was branded “fake”.
The singer performed Boyz II Men’s One Sweet Day this weekend and when he became more emotional after his performance rather than during, judge Nick Grimshaw accused the musician of faking his emotions, prompting Anton to exclaim: “There is nothing fake about me!”
The criticism continued online after the show and Anton took to Twitter to post a long series of defensive tweets.
He wrote: “Whenever I sing I give my all. There is nothing hidden or unreal! I am the AUTHENTIC ME! Let’s show them by voting ANTON ALL REAL ALL ME X.”
He added: “Tonight I’ve grown tired! I allowed irrelevant people’s ugly opinion matter but I’ve felt it important to stop being a victim. FIGHT 4 myself.”
In response to his critics, he wrote: “Stop being ugly! Stop bullying me! I’ve stayed silent enough whilst allowing this to continue. STOP! Pls stop.”
However, the aspiring pop star still has his supporters and many were tweeting to let him know they were behind him.
Former X Factor contestant and Celebrity Big Brother star Stevi Ritchie wrote: “I absolutely fking love @AntonStephans fking awesome love you winner xx.”
Last year’s runner-up Fleur East wrote: “Beautiful @AntonStephans.”
And EastEnders actor Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale in the soap, wrote: “Please vote for a real singer @AntonStephans tonight @TheXFactor.”
