The first ever winner of The X Factor has announced his plan to write an "explosive, tell-all" book about the show – and he's promised Simon Cowell won't be too happy about it. Steve Brookstein, who won his X Factor crown back in 2004, has vowed to lift the lid on the "nightmare" time he had after the show, and how his career nose-dived soon after. He will also be talking to previous X Factor winner Leon Jackson and reality star Michelle McManus, who've also found their success didn't last as long as they'd hoped. The book, entitled X Factor Nightmares: The Manipulations. The Greed. The Deceptions (hmm, how positive) is being written at the moment, but we imagine it will be ready by the time the new series kicks off later this year. Are you excited to find out what Steve and co have to say about what really goes on at The X Factor, or should he just let it go now?

Talk about hanging on for dear life. Get over it Steve, time has moved on and no one is interested about what happened all those years ago.
