Apprentice Paula: I will get my revenge on Ben
The latest casualty of the boardroom Paula Jones has vowed to get revenge on the candidate she calls "aggressive, immature and a thug", saying her boxer brother will give fellow contestant Ben a "proper seeing-to". Yikes! Paula found herself booted off the show last night, after an oversight in her team's costing meant they spent £700 on a cosmetic ingredient instead of £5 – but we must say, we felt sorry for her heading into the boardroom with two toughies like Ben and Yasmina. Paula said last night about Ben, "He's got such a high opinion of himself but he's just a complete waste of space. My brother can't wait to meet him. He's a big lad..." Paula also confessed that emerging ladies' man Philip made a move on her before shacking up with blonde Kate. "He called me Jessica Rabbit because of my red hair," she explained. "But I wasn't falling for his charms." What do you think about Ben after last night's show?
Coleen plans birth around England match
She's only just confirmed her pregnancy, but already Coleen Rooney is planning the finer details of her birth – including the fact that she wants a caesarean. Col's baby is expected on 10 October, but England have a big match against the Ukraine that day, so Col is hoping to have a c-section in late September so that Wayne can be with her and also for the few weeks after the birth. "Coleen is so excited but she didn't want to be worrying about whether Wayne wouuld be there or not – so she is super-organised and has already pencilled in the date for the operation," explains a friend. However, they also revealed that the date will be "reviewed" after her 20-week scan. Col and Wayne don't know the sex of the baby yet, but they have told mates that if it's a boy they may call it James, as apparently they think it was conceived after their 007-themed New Year's Eve party. Um – too much information, guys...
Jack Tweed on suicide watch
Jack Tweed has been locked in a special secure hospital wing in a single cell to protect him from other prisoners, it has emerged today. Jack, who is at Chelmsford Prison for 12 weeks for assaulting a taxi driver, is thought to be at risk due to his "celebrity" status and will spend his time in prison alongside other high-risk prisoners, including those on suicide watch. "There are genuine concerns that he could be targeted, it's the sort of things that tough guys would brag to their mates," says a jail source. "All the furniture in Jack's cell will be moulded to the floor or the walls so it can't be thrown around or broken to make a makeshift weapon." It has also emerged that during his last stay in prison, inmates tried to force Jack to smoke crack, which left him "shaking like a frightened schoolboy" and now friends are extremely worried for the widower's health and fragile state of mind.
Holly and Tess will return to work despite new babies
Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly and The Xtra's Factor's Holly Willoughby have both said they will not be taking any time off work, despite both having babies due close to the time their respective shows kick off. Tess is expecting her baby in June, so will have 12 weeks to prepare for the new series of Strictly, which starts in September. Holly, meanwhile, is cutting things a bit finer. Her first baby is due in late May, but she's planning to be at The X Factor auditions when they kick off in June. Holly will be taking her mum on the road with her, and possibly a nanny to help, too. Both ladies love their work so much they are reluctant to stop. We love the idea of Holly's no-doubt cute baby being on The Xtra Factor with her!
