Girls Aloud confirm temporary split:
Girls Aloud this weekend confirmed that they will be taking a break to work on solo projects – but don't worry, they're definitely not splitting up. The girls will all be working on separate things, with Sarah Harding confirming, "We're all doing different things this year. I've already done some acting and the director has asked me to work with him again – but we're NOT splitting up!" Kimberley has also decided to focus on acting, and has some lessons planned, while Nadine and Cheryl will head to the recording studios and Nicola will continue to focus on her beauty company Dainty Doll. Did you see Girls Aloud on their tour this weekend? If so, what was your favourite moment of the night?
Denise Van Outen becomes Mrs Mead
According to reports, Denise Van Outen and Lee Mead became man and wife this weekend, following an intimate ceremony on the beach in the Seychelles. The couple, who have been together for two years after meeting on the set of Any Dream Will Do, tied the knot in front of family and close friends. Denise is reported to have worn a strapless white gown, while Lee wore a grey suit. Well, at least it wasn't a coat of many colours! Congratulations guys.
Jordan takes dramatic tumble at the London Marathon
Katie Price was forced to hobble across the finishing line of the London Marathon yesterday, after her injured knee gave way part of the way round. The model kept up a strong pace until the 18-mile mark, before suddenly taking a tumble and ending up in agony with a twisted knee. Still, she struggled on and, despite falling again at the 23-mile mark, made it back with Peter at her side in just over seven hours. "There was no way in hell I wasn't finishing," said a tearful Katie afterwards. "I'm proud of what I've achieved." Other celebs taking up the challenge yesterday included Gordon Ramsay, Ronan Keating and BB3's Kate Lawler, who heatworld spied wearing an interesting leopard-print ensemble. Did you spot any celebs on the run yesterday?
EastEnders snubbed at TV Baftas
She was the favouite to win the coveted Best Actress award, but EastEnders' June Brown (Dot Cotton) was eventually beaten to the prize by Poppy Shakespeare star Anna Maxwell Martin. It was the first of two disappointments for the Walford-based soap, as it also missed out on the Continuing Drama award which was handed to The Bill. Harry Hill was chuffed to receive the Entertainment Performance gong for the second year in a row, while The X Factor scooped the prize for Entertainment Programme. Other big winners on the night included Skins for the Phillips Audience Award and Harry And Paul for Comedy Programme. We'll bring you a little gallery of all the stars on the red carpet a bit later.

Glad Skins won a BAFTA, although the new series was not as great as the two previous it's still miles ahead of most TV shows which could be called it rivals.
