Davina to join Pip on This Morning
Davina McCall is the latest celebrity to join the shortlist to replace Fern Britton on This Morning, according to reports. The BB presenter is said to be "looking for a new challenge" and ITV bosses feel she could attract a wide female audience and boost ratings. An insider revealed, "Davina is always game for trying things and would get stuck into everything. She is definitely a contender." It is also widely rumoured that Davina is planning on quitting Big Brother after the tenth series finishes later this summer, so she would have the time to do This Morning. Whoever ends up getting the job will feel smug – it seems to be the one everyone wants, doesn't it?

Nicole Kidman: "Tom wanted me seen but not heard"
Nicole Kidman has spoken out for the first time about how she really felt during her marriage to Tom Cruise, saying she "cowered in the background" behind him. "I would always cower in the background," she says. "I felt it was my job to put on a beautiful dress and be seen and not heard. I felt I became a star only by association and I didn't deserve to be there." Nicole Kidman's acting career really took off following her divorce from Tom, and she went on to win an Oscar – something Tom's not yet managed to do. Snigger.

Amanda: "I fancy Simon Cowell"
Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has finally succumbed to Simon Cowell’s charms, admitting, “I fancy Simon.” Amanda, 38, has previously denied having a soft spot for the notorious smooth-talker, but on Saturday’s Britain's Got More Talent on ITV2 she reveals, “I have got a crush on him. I think it’s a bizarre thing. I recently read that Cheryl Cole never thought she would and she did. He has this charisma and charm which you can’t fight. And if you want to be cross with him, you can’t.” Simon has admitted liking Amanda too, describing her as “filthy” and “cute” with a “glint in her eye”. But Amanda admits that, since she married husband Chris Hughes at Christmas, [Simon] “feels he can’t flirt with me any more. He’s kind and a bit more respectful, but I’m naturally flirty – it’s part of our chemistry.” How about you lot, can you resist Mr Cowell?

Britney wants a "stripper's" pole in her hotel room
We’ve heard of some demanding celeb requests when it comes to kitting out their hotel rooms, but Britney Spears has taken it to dizzy new levels – requesting that the Dorchester Hotel fit an 8-foot metal pole into her £1,100-a-night penthouse suite for the duration of her stay. The 27-year-old mother of two claims the pole is all part of a new exercise regime to keep her in shape for her Circus tour. A source says, “Britney has a huge fan base in the UK and really wants the show to be a hit – she’s adamant that her tummy will be ironing board-flat by the time she hits British shores. Pole dancing is an excellent cardio and fat-burning workout.” Ms Spears has also requested that Topshop magnate Sir Philip Green opens the store late for just her and her dancers when they’re in town. Tickets have already sold out, with the star adding ten extra London dates to meet demand. We, for one, can’t wait for the Circus to come to town!
