Amy's dad turns his back as her boozing gets out of control

Amy Winehouse's dad Mitch says he will "walk away" from his daughter if she doesn't sort out her problems with alcohol. Talking about the troubled singer in a new documentary, Mitch says that although he's proud of Amy for finally ditching the drugs, he fears that she will go down a similar road now with the booze. "After she almost died twice from drug-related problems, to see her walking, smiling – she has progressed so much," he says. "But now, if it's alcohol instead of hard drugs – I don't think I can go through that again. I've decided to distance myself, and whatever happens, happens." Mitch's comments come in the wake of yet another disastrous comeback performance by Amy – this time in her beloved St Lucia. The star stumbled around on stage, slurred her words and swore at the audience when they began booing her. In the past few months, she has also been spotted "crawling" along the floor at her hotel resort and has "begged" holidaymakers for booze. Mitch says Amy herself is the only person who can stop the drinking. We hope she manages it – and soon.

Love the dress. Yep, she's a mess. But her dad doesn't help gobbing off to the british press. I used to think she was such a strong, sorted person, haha....you can take the girl outa camden, but you can't take camden outa the girl...init.

and it is that simple... I have never taken drugs... and low and behold I have a job and I'm not whoring it up in St Lucia crawling on hotel floors...

yup, we are all taught from a young age the dangers of addiction, of course ppl will experiment and think they are above addiction, but if you have faith in yourself and inner strength, you wouldn't even be tempted.

It's not naive... We are all well educated in the matter... Drugs are bad kids... Yet idiots like Wino think they can beat the system and have fun with it... Turns out... She's killing herself. I'm not naive richie.. I have basic common sense.

if your self-opinion os so low that you sucumb to the peer pressure of drug taking skankers then its a psychiatrist you need, not a dealer!
