Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon has announced her engagement to long-term girlfriend Christine Marinoni. The couple, who began dating in 2003 and are often hailed as an iconic gay couple, made their announcement at a same-sex marriage rally in New York over the weekend, with Cynthia, who plays Miranda in the hit show, saying to the crowd, "I have a secret to tell you. Last month, my girlfriend Christine and I got engaged. And I have a beautiful ring to prove it!" Aww, congratulations ladies!
