Oops… Britney’s in trouble again

Uh-oh. Britney Spears is in a spot of bother. But this time it’s nothing to do with shaved heads/affected English accents/spending "only" £120,000 on her kids over the space of one year (OUTRAGE!)/general barminess. Britters is being sued by her former bodyguard over claims he was injured during his time working with The Legendary Miss Britney Spears in March 2008. Kerry Vine is suing Brit for personal injury, battery and negligence, claiming lost wages, medical costs and loss of personal property. All sounds a bit complicated, doesn’t it? Kerry’s lawyer says, “Advanced Security Concepts negligently operated their business thereby causing injuries to [Vine] who worked for [Spears] at the time. [Spears] breached that duty of care to the plaintiff by failing to ensure that he could safely perform duties that Advanced Security Concepts ordered him to perform." Eek. The court hearing isn’t until September, but we’ll be keeping an eye on how this one pans out.

Britney seems to be able to face anything, and surely bodyguards get injured, because it's, like, their job to protect someone

I thought when you became a bodyguard you signed something that said you don't mind being injured Surely that's part of the job if you're being paid to protect someone?
