The cream of Cannes* were out last night to attend the amFAR Against AIDS bash – yes, the same one where Robert Pattinson almost died of embarrassment – and the ladies were clearly all on a mission to get noticed. Sharon Stone definitely got noticed, but perhaps more because her dress was slashed to the crotch than because she looked good. Peaches went for a daring, feather-trimmed frock which we're still puzzling over, while Heroes' (and Steve Jones', apparently) Hayden Panettiere looked rather frumpy in her pale pink floral number. Other stars treading the red carpet included Paris Hilton (naturally), Dita Von Teese, Josh Hartnett, Verne Troyer and a scarily orange Donatella Versace.
