With all her legal woes, man trouble, and all the general media scrutiny, we’re used to hearing about the bad things in Britney Spears’ life. So, the extra, unseen footage from the DVD release of the documentary Britney: For The Record (out 1 June) makes for pleasant viewing, because we get to see the troubled star finally having some fun. As a surprise, Britney is taken out into the country where her beloved car is waiting for her, she then gets to spend the day driving far away from the pesky paparazzi. The whole thing is extremely sweet, especially when Brit admits that she feels freest when she’s allowed to drive, and she also insists that she doesn’t want pity from anyone.
