You'd have thought she would've been scared off breakfast TV appearances for life, but this morning Kerry Katona braved the GMTV sofa to discuss her latest reality series Kerry Katona: What's The Problem?. Talking to Andrew Castle this time as opposed to Phil and Fern, Kerry admitted she'd deliberately missed her medication the previous night to avoid a repeat of what happened on This Morning. "I never took my medication last night because I was so embarrassed about what happened on This Morning – I didn’t want to slur," she said, before adding, "I don’t mind doing it on my own show, but I thought if I take my meds last night, because it’s early in the morning I’ll start slurring and I’ll just get criticised again because the public don’t understand it." A defiant Kerry told Andrew she'd been "nationally embarrassed" by the This Morning interview, and then took the opportunity to have another pop at Phil and Fern. "What annoyed me about it was they never approached me and asked what medication I was on. They just said to me, 'Have you been drinking?'," she said. "It still upsets me now, I was nationally embarrassed because of medication and illness." Kerry then admitted she was "skint" and that she spends "loads of money" when she's on one of her high mood swings. Blimey, she's really not going to let the whole This Morning thing drop, is she? We wonder what Pip and Fern think to all this...

she seemed very manic this morning so perhaps she should have taken the meds after all!! I've been on bi-polar meds for ten years so felt compelled to watch her on gmtv this morning but she was awful, not slurring this time but still awful!!!

nwilt - I have no real understanding of this disease but I am with you on this one, surely the meds are meant to help her and not make her worse? Someone tell me if I am wrong but I get the feeling this is just an excuse??
