Britney's breakdown – insider reveals all:
When Britney performed that disastrous "comeback" performance at the VMAs 18 months ago, we were all left open-mouthed in near-horror. Well, now a source who was close to Britney at this time has written a book about his memories of the star – including what really happened that night. In Steve Dennis' book Britney: Inside The Dream, he remembers a "terrified" and "nervous" Britney downing shots of tequila in her dressing room to calm herself down. This erratic behaviour, however, did not help matters, and Britney not only sacked celebrity hairdresser Ken Paves on the spot, but she also refused to wear a flattering black one-piece that had been specially designed for her by Dita Von Teese's stylist. When her ex Justin Timberlake popped by to wish her luck, Steve says it "really wigged her out", even though JT couldn't have been friendlier. After her disastrous performance, Steve reports that Britney sat crying "for 45 minutes" as she realised what she'd done. Blimey! We can't believe all this was happening just 18 months ago. Britney's London tour starts tonight – are you going to be in the audience?

Su-Bo could miss BGT live tour

Britain's Got Talent live tour organisers are warning ticket-holders that Susan Boyle may not be well enough to appear at the shows. It is thought that Su-Bo, who is still recovering at The Priory, will not be well enough to start the BGT tour, which begins this Friday. There is worry that people will now demand their money back. Last night Amanda Holden insisted there were "no underlying mental issues" and that Susan was simply suffering from exhaustion. It has also been reported that Simon Cowell offered to rip up her tour contract to take the pressure off, and that he would support her whatever decision she decided to make. "Simon told her she had done brilliantly and she was a great singer who was going to record a great album when she was ready," claims a show source. Get well soon, Su-Bo!

Rossy to quit the BBC?
It is being reported today that Jonathan Ross' £6million BBC salary could be halved later this year. In addition, the new "face" of the channel, Graham Norton, will be given more money and more primetime slots. Now insiders fear Rossy will defect to a rival channel. However, a friend of Jonathan's denied the claim, saying, "There are no hard feelings. He's mates with Graham. I'm sure they'll have a laugh about it." The BBC had already warned all their "talent" to expect a cut in earnings, with one source saying, "We are pushing very hard on talent, telling them we can't go on like this."

BB10 housemates mostly single!
Big Brother 10 starts tomorrow *screeeam*, and the rumours are still flooding through. The latest little tasty nugget of news is that most if not all of the rumoured 18 new housemates are going to be single, in a bid to notch up the romance factor this year. One source is reported to have said, "This year we really want lots of steamy sex." Hmmm. We're just thinking back over sexual encounters in the house and it's making us feel a bit queasy... Mario and Lisa? Grim. Michelle and Stu under a table? Classy. Still, we're all for a bit of flirting and some genuine romance. Can you believe it's now just hours to go?!
