Big Brother 10 – what a first night!
Big Brother 10
finally kicked off last night – and what a first night it was! Within a few minutes of meeting his new (non)housemates, poor little Rodrigo was told by Big Brother that he must persuade one of them to have their eyebrows shaven off and let him draw a moustache and glasses on their face in permanent market pen. We must say we were pretty shocked when Noirin stepped up to the task. Then again, she did get a lousy reception on the way in, so perhaps she thought it best to grab her chance to become a housemate while she could. After the task, Rodrigo and Noirin were allowed into the main bedroom, but the rest of the contestants were given blankets and told to sleep on the floor of the living area. They didn't do much sleeping, predictably. At around 2am, Angel started an aerobics class in the garden, and just two hours ago most of the excited new faces were still sitting up chatting. They're going to be pretty tired today. What did you think of last night's launch? Will you be addicted to the show this summer?

Su-Bo leaves The Priory

Susan Boyle left The Priory yesterday after spending five days recovering from exhaustion. The West Lothian singer has now gone "into hiding" with a pal, and friends say she also met with Sony record bosses to discuss her album. A Britain's Got Talent source confirmed, "She [Su-Bo] is absolutely fine and has met with record bosses who told her that her deal is safe and she must take as much time as she needs." Susan was apparently keen to leave the private clinic, as she was desperately missing her family and her beloved cat Pebbles. It is also being rumoured that Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher want Su-Bo to perform at their wedding anniversary party in September, and are willing to pay £30,000 for the privilege. Things are looking up then!

Brit wants tea with the Queen

Britney Spears has allegedly told friends she wants to have tea with the Queen while she's in London. The starlet is desperate to "rub shoulders with royalty", claims a friend, and is planning on taking her two sons over to Buckingham Palace when the Queen is in residence. Um, does she just think you can rock up with a packet of Rich Teas and be invited in? Britney has managed to do a fair bit of sightseeing in the capital already, but we think her ambitious tea party plans might be a little far-fetched.

Kill Bill star's death "accidental" claim friends
Kill Bill star David Carradine is feared to have killed himself accidentally, after a dangerous sex act went wrong. The 72-year-old actor, who played Bill in the hit Tarantino films, was discovered hanging in a hotel wardrobe in Bangkok. One police source claimed a curtain rope was tied around both his neck and genitals. Friends and colleagues of the star are adamant that he would not have meant to take his own life, with his manager saying last night, "He was always full of life, always wanting to work – a great person." David was working on a movie in the city at the time of his death, and those close to him are said to be "shocked" at his sudden death. David had worked on over 100 movies during his career, but was best known for his role as Bill, and in the TV drama series Kung Fu, which aired in the 1970s.
