Katie and Peter: it's getting nasty
Friends of estranged couple Katie Price and Peter Andre have warned their divorce could get very ugly. While Katie is blasting Peter for abandoning her, Pete is telling pals that he's been "abused into a shadow of his former self" and that he doesn't believe Katie ever loved him. It has also been reported that the pair split because Pete became convinced Katie was having an affair, and his jealousy was upsetting them both. Relations between the pair are now said to be so bad, that Pete will even text Katie to say he is about to call the kids and tell her not to answer the phone. One friend confided, "There is a sea of resentment between them and a gathering storm. It's going to be one of the messiest splits the celebrity world has seen."

Jackiey Budden quits UK for love – with a man!
Jade Goody's mum Jackiey has told friends she wants to quit the UK for good, after falling in love with a new man in Tenerife. Jackiey, who's spent the past 25 years as a lesbian, has fallen for 36-year-old ex-soldier Jason Cooper, who works in a bar kitchen on the island. Jackiey, 51, will return to the UK in the next few days to visit her beloved grandsons, but she doesn't want to be separated from Jason for too long. One friend comfirmed, "This is her one chance of love. She doesn't want to miss it." Jackiey had always maintained that she would help care for Jade's two sons after her daughter's death. They are currently with their dad Jeff Brazier.

Li-Lo and Sam-Ro back on. Again
It would appear that a little persistence really does pay off. Lindsay Lohan was all smiles at Heathrow Airport yesterday, as she prepared to board a flight back to LA with none other than ex-girlfriend Samanatha Ronson in tow. It had been reported all week that the DJ was desperately trying to avoid Li-Lo, who in turn was frantically searching the London club circuit for her former lady. However, given her smiles, and a message on Twitter which read: "Leaving London but with my favourite, favourite!!! travel buddy & great news to share", it would appear Lindsay has managed to win back her woman. After checking-in together at the airport, both girls headed towards the first class lounge hand-in-hand. We wonder if it will last this time?

Madonna WILL be allowed to adopt
Madonna has been told today that her bid to adopt Malawian tot Mercy James will be permitted after all. The star was left devastated after her case was blocked back in March, but since then a team of legal experts has been working on an appeal – and now it looks as if Madge may get her wish. The new ruling is expected to be announced next Sunday, with one source in Malawi saying, "All recommendations are in favour of the adoption taking place. Mercy should start packing her bags – she's off to America!" Madonna is said to be "ecstatic" with the news.
