David and Victoria Beckham have today received an apology from their former nanny in the High Court, after she disclosed private information about the famous couple to a newspaper. Abbie Gibson was responsible for an article entitled Beckhams behind closed doors, which appeared in a Sunday newspaper back in April 2005. She had worked for the couple from May 2003 until a month before the article appeared. The famous pair's lawyer said in a statement, "Ms Gibson has unconditionally apologised to David and Victoria Beckham and their family for breaching her duties of confidence. She now accepts that she should not have breached her duties of confidence to David and Victoria Beckham and their children." The former nanny has now agreed to give "permanent undertakings of confidentiality" to David and Victoria Beckham. What a relief it must be for them to have all this business resolved.

Glad they received the apology at last. She was entrusted to care for their children, and it's not in the kids' best interests for her to write a tell all book about their parents, is it???

Aussie, I agree. She was hired to look after their children but as soon as she was finished, the pound signs flashed in her eyes. Well, if she can guarantee one thing, its that she will never be trusted again. Good luck finding a new job love.
