David and Victoria Beckham have today received an apology from their former nanny in the High Court, after she disclosed private information about the famous couple to a newspaper. Abbie Gibson was responsible for an article entitled Beckhams behind closed doors, which appeared in a Sunday newspaper back in April 2005. She had worked for the couple from May 2003 until a month before the article appeared. The famous pair's lawyer said in a statement, "Ms Gibson has unconditionally apologised to David and Victoria Beckham and their family for breaching her duties of confidence. She now accepts that she should not have breached her duties of confidence to David and Victoria Beckham and their children." The former nanny has now agreed to give "permanent undertakings of confidentiality" to David and Victoria Beckham. What a relief it must be for them to have all this business resolved.

What a scumbag she was in the first place. I mean, here is someone the Beckhams obviously trusted to look after their kids and she goes and does that! An apology is too little to late IMO.

thats why many stars make employees sign confidentiality agreements, if they break these terms, even after employment has ended they can get sued big time

I just think it's bad when someone who you are meant to trust goes and does a tell all story. Must be a bugger to be able to find someone who won't tell the world what happens behind closed doors.

but i for one like the tell alls, coz we know they are not perfect, but would like the proof to make our meagre exsistance seem more pleasureable!
