Victoria Beckham has become the latest target of Animal Rights Group PETA – and it's all because of her fondness for designer handbags. Posh is a big fan of design house Hermes, but PETA have recently discovered that the company farms crocodiles in Australia in order to use their skin. A spokeswoman for the group said, "The mere thought of purposely breeding and killing crocodiles for an outdated, overpriced handbag should make any fashionista's skin crawl. We will send Victoria Beckham, a compassionate person who won't wear fur, our undercover footage that shows how alligators and crocodiles are beaten to death and how snakes are nailed to trees and skinned alive for these products." Blimey. VB's official people have yet to comment on the statement, but it's worth PETA bearing in mind that one of Victoria's Hermes handbags was a gift from husband David and is worth over £76,000. We don't imagine she'll give that up anytime soon...

PETA always take things too far, I mean throwing flour over people, isn't that just childish?

Posh is the one woman I'd like to put in a man-sized catapult, but because she's annoyed PETA makes me wanna kiss her! OK thats going a bit too far. PETA ARE NUT-JOBS!

TBH I think it's virtuallly impossible to be a committed fashionista and an animal lover - even Stella M uses silk. Avoiding fur is great, but is leather any better? And that's even before you get into the eating meat debate...
