Victoria Beckham has become the latest target of Animal Rights Group PETA – and it's all because of her fondness for designer handbags. Posh is a big fan of design house Hermes, but PETA have recently discovered that the company farms crocodiles in Australia in order to use their skin. A spokeswoman for the group said, "The mere thought of purposely breeding and killing crocodiles for an outdated, overpriced handbag should make any fashionista's skin crawl. We will send Victoria Beckham, a compassionate person who won't wear fur, our undercover footage that shows how alligators and crocodiles are beaten to death and how snakes are nailed to trees and skinned alive for these products." Blimey. VB's official people have yet to comment on the statement, but it's worth PETA bearing in mind that one of Victoria's Hermes handbags was a gift from husband David and is worth over £76,000. We don't imagine she'll give that up anytime soon...

own the right to an animals life just to fill thier tummys when the fact is people eat meat for selfish pleasure not because they need it to survive. I think there is nothing wrong if you live on a farm to go and shoot a pheasent etc. and learn where

I think animals being killed for unnecessary food for humans is even worse than the fur industury, it just isn't as frowned upon. Animals that are killed for food are sometimes treated even worse than for fur. It is selfish of humans to think they

I find it more offensive that one of her handbags cost over £76, 000 - have they no idea how much that is in the real world!?

yea i agree with you, animals cant talk for themselves klilling innocent animals for clothes is wrong, there is no justifing it. well when apes take over the world and do it to humans then they wont like it!

the reason PETA 'force thier opinions upon people' is because animals do not have voices and quite obviously cannot speak about thier suffering. and if you dont care about fur and how its made then how about you search for a few disgusting pictures.
