Even Simon was nervous about X Factor auditions:
Simon Cowell yesterday joked to a packed X Factor audition audience that "if it all goes wrong, you are all to blame". The judge addressed the London crowd ahead of yesterday's auditions – the first to be done with a live audience present – telling them, " I have never done this with a singing show before. When you love someone you have to chant and let us know." Fellow judge Dannii, who arrived to her seat holding the hand of her supposed "rival" Cheryl Cole, then piped up, "We're as nervous and excited as you." Nervous acts then took it in turns to face the 2,000-strong crowd and the four judges, with many finding themselves booed off before they could finish one song. There were some success stories, though, with one 33-year-old Kings Of Leon fan already being tipped as a finalist. God, we can't wait to the show to kick off!
Katie's final wild night in Ibiza
She may be back in the UK now, but Katie Price made sure she treated herself to one hell of a send off from Ibiza. Guests at the posh Es Vive hotel complained that the model was loud and disruptive, waking up an entire corridor of sleeping holidaymakers as she crashed back to bed at 3am. She was also heard singing, seen drinking at the bar wearing just her bikini, and allegedly shouting about a sex act she'd like to perform on one of her friends. It's no wonder the presumably hungover star was in a bad mood when she arrived back at Gatwick Airport yesterday afternoon. Asked by one reporter if she was looking forward to seeing her children, Katie merely snapped, "What's it to do with you?" Pete, meanwhile, is still in Cyprus with Harvey, Junior and Princess, but they are expected home in a few days.
SJP's twin girls get 'normal' names
Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick have decided to name their new twin girls Marion and Tabitha. The surrogate-born tots arrived yesterday afternoon in an Ohio hospital, and the excited couple were there to greet them. Shortly afterwards, an official statement was released which read: "Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are delighted to announce the healthy arrival of their two daughters at 3.58pm on June 22 in Ohio. Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5lbs, 11oz and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 pounds. Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker’s side. The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon." Wow. They're quite normal names, aren't they? Very pretty. We wonder what little James Wilkie thinks of becoming a big brother to two girls?
Ange vs Megan for Tomb Raider role
Angelina Jolie is said to be "furious" that fellow actress Megan Fox is being tipped to take over her famous Tomb Raider role. The two actresses, who, thanks to their matching looks, tattoos and edginess are often compared within the film industry, are both said to want the pat of Lara Croft in a new Tomb Raider movie concentrating on the early life of the action heroine. An insider claims, "Angie was intent on reprising her role. She feels it's something she helped define and feels robbed that it looks likely to be handed to someone who she considers to be less capable than her." Angelina, now 34, would be pushing it to play a young Lara Croft, while 23-year-old Megan Fox is said to be a more "logical" choice. Oh dear... Can't they both have a part in the movie? Who do YOU think would make a better Lara Croft?

X Factor will be ruined by live auditions. We won't get to see the shit acts without people booig and jeering in the background and ruining the hilarity. What's the point of making it the same as BGT??
nongwin
Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick normal? yeh ok then. if i was called either of thise riddiculous names i would hate my parents, how do you even pronounce them?
paperchainhearts
I don't think either of those names are particularly normal. But, they could be so much worse. As long as they are healthy :)I'm so looking forward to X Factor, I love it :D
