Reports are coming over from the US that Michael Jackson has died following a heart attack earlier today. He was 50 years old.
The star is said to have suffered a cardiac arrest in LA this afternoon, and paramedics were unable to revive him. Michael Jackson's official spokesperson has yet to release a statement, but reports claim that the star had no pulse when the paramedics arrived and that they were unable to get one established.
Michael was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles by ambulance, but sources are claiming he was declared dead shortly after arrival.
The star is dad to three children, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr, Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael Jackson II.
Michael had long suffered from complications with his health, and just recently it had been claimed he was undergoing treatment for a type of skin cancer.
Update:
The Los Angeles Times have now just confirmed the news that Michael Jackson has indeed died. City and Law enforcement sources are said to have confirmed the news.
Michael Jackson was on the verge on a huge comeback tour, which was being described as "amazing" and "incredible". Here at heatworld we still can't quite believe the news. Our thoughts are with the star and his family.

You never think some one THAT famous will ever die do you, you just don't think about it; i was so looking forward to his comeback concert. I hope when he was doing his music he was having the most wonderful time of his life. Shocking. Rest in peace.

we have a lost a true gem he is now a bright shining star and will be greatly missed this world can be so cruel michael was a wonderful caring gentle man and his passing is so hard to come to terms with we will miss you always and forever

So surreal, just cannot believe that we have lost one of our greatest entertainers, the best singer/dancer that has graced our earth. He started so many dance crazes, and his unique songs have captured many hearts, rip to the greatest. x
