Tributes flood in for Michael Jackson

The outpouring of grief following the death of Michael Jackson is of course going to be unprecedented, and all night the tributes have been flooding in from his friends and famous fans all over the world. Many shocked celebs turned to Twitter to share their tributes, with everyone from Stephen Fry to Katie Price having their say. Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles commented, "Michael Jackson was to me what I imagine Elvis was to another generation. I bought his songs and I saw him live. His death is very sad." Katie Price wrote, "Ooooh my god sooo shocked rest in peace mj you were the KING OF POP a total legend xxxxxxxxxxx." A bewildered-sounding Stephen Fry said, "Goodness. Michael Jackson. Poor old soul. Oh dear", while Paris Hilton wrote, "I am so sad right now :( I can't believe Michael is gone. What a sad day today, I'm devastated. :(" Other tributes included one from McFly, saying, "The entertainment industry has lost the greatest performer of all time. It is tragic news and we are all very sad. Can't believe it." Lindsay Lohan wrote, "r.i.p. Michael Jackson *my love and prayers go out to the Jackson family.. "you are not alone" -mj" Peter Andre also left a tribute, saying, "Michael Jackson dying is absolutely devastating. I am totally shocked. MJ, you're the best." It is frustrating, but to be honest I gave up bothering to respond to people like that during his trial. I think it's sick how some people can't appreciate that a person can have a genuine interest in children's happiness without an ulterior motive.

Lala, I know how you feel, but as I said earlier his true fans know the truth. Just ignore the nasty comments & be comforted by the fact that you're not a judgmental, closed-minded moron.

the people that make the cruel horrid comments do it for a reaction, so when you give them one they post more comments. so if you dont react they go away. where are these awful comments anyway? - i think hw must be removing.
