A fan who won a trip to see Michael Jackson in rehearsal just this week has spoken out about how shocked she was at his appearance, telling friends at the time, "I have to say: he may die." The fan says she was shocked and horrified at how frail Michael looked, and says that he looked like a "skeleton". It was only three days later that the pop megastar collapsed at his LA home. Tributes have continued to flood in from those closest to the star, with Justin Timberlake saying, "We have lost a genius and a true ambassador of not only Pop music but of all music. He has been an inspiration to multiple generations, and I will always cherish the moments I shared with him on stage and all of the things I learned about music from him and the time we spent together." Cher reflected on the younger Jacko she knew, saying, "I am having a million reactions. When I think of him, I think of this young boy, this teenager I first met... He was a great teenager, optimistic and adorable." Best friend Elizabeth Taylor was "too devastated" to make an official statement, but collaborator and friend Paul McCartney wrote, "I feel privileged to have hung out and worked with Michael. He was a massively talented boy-man with a gentle soul. His music will be remembered forever and my memories of our time together will be happy ones."

as shocking and saddening as Michael Jacksons death is think that there have been other deaths that have been more shocking, take heath ledgers death for example - he was very young, only 28, while a heart attack is a common death for his age group +

Exactly nwiltshire and anyone that meet him was aware of his child like tendanies which is why he was branded so ridiculed in his life... Macca got it right with boy-man.. it is honest, he knows better than anyone how a legand grows from death...
