A man who wrote a blog describing the imaginary kidnap and murder of Girls Aloud has been cleared today of obscenity. The 12-page online article, entitled Girls (Scream) Aloud, appeared on a fantasy pornography blog and was shown to the authorities after being spotted by the Internet Watch Foundation. The author, Darryn Walker was arrested by officers from the Obscene Publications Unit last February, but today a judge ruled he was "not guilty". Walker had argued that the piece was not easily accessible, and that anyone who read it would have to be looking for it specifically. He also says it was "never his intention to frighten or intimidate the members of Girls Aloud" and that it was simply an adult "celebrity parody".
