Apprentice couple NOT engaged after all?

Earlier this morning, photos of Apprentice couple Kate and Phil appeared which showed her apparently picking out an engagement ring. Well, now a close friend of the couple has told heatworld that all was not as it seemed, explaining, "Kate and Phil were having lunch and decided to look around Hatton Garden as neither had been before and it was close by. Kate is looking to buy Phil a watch for his 30th birthday and when they were having a look they decided to try on a few rings just for fun – Kate loves jewellery." Asked whether or not the pair are, indeed, getting engaged, the friend told us, "The relationship is still early days, but who knows what the future will bring..." Looks like we'll have to put that wedding-hat order on hold for now. What a shame.
