Chris Moyles brands the BBC "weird, dull and boring"

Chris Moyles has blasted his own employer – the BBC – in a new interview, complaining that ever since the debacle that was Sachsgate, the broadcasting giant has become "dull and boring". Chatting to the Radio Times, Chris explained, "The BBC is in a very weird state where they just don't want to upset anybody. Everything now needs to be signed, sealed and approved 18 times." The BBC introduced a new stricter regime in the wake of Russell Brand quitting and Jonathan Ross being suspended, but Chris Moyles thinks they've made a big mistake. "We're not trying to change the world, but because radio is so dull, so boring and so formulaic, and anyone different – me or Jonathan [Ross] – stands out," he explains. "You're just trying to juggle everything while keeping everyone happy at the same time. And the reality is that you can't keep everyone happy all the time." We imagine Chris' bosses won't be too thrilled with his latest remarks, but the radio DJ is still one of the most popular personalities on the airwaves. Do YOU think Chris makes a good point, or do you agree that the BBC had no choice but to become more disciplined?
