Tears all round as Fern Britton leaves This Morning

She swore she wouldn't blub live on TV, but after a few cocktails, a few cuddles, and an amazing video of career highlights, Fern Britton couldn't hold back the tears any longer – and neither could we. Fern completed her last day at This Morning today, after 10 years of entertaining the nation from that famous sofa. Her co-host Phillip Schofield also got choked up when she told him, "As for you, you've given me the best six years we've had together. We'd have a ball and good luck." Throughout the show, an increasingly tipsy Fern sipped on Pimm's, champagne and cocktails, even joking that tomorrow's show should be sponsored by Alka Seltzer. heatworld doesn't even get to watch that much daytime TV anymore *fume*, but even we got a bit choked up when we saw this clip of Fern's best bits.
