A relieved Amy Winehouse has just left court after being found not guilty of assaulting a fan. The singer was accused of punching a 30-year-old female fan in the eye after she asked for a picture at a charity ball, but today a court decided not to find her guilty. Summing up, the judge said, "The two accounts are irreconcilable and I have had therefore to examine carefully the evidence of other witnesses. [The medical evidence did not show] the sort of injury that often occurs when there is a forceful punch to the eye." The main problem, it emerged, was that both Amy, her alleged victim, and the two witnesses called were drunk at the time of the incident, and so their evidence could not be taken as fact. Leaving court, a happy Amy told reporters, "I'm relieved. I'm going home."

How did I know that would get bannered. For god's sake Bannerman all I did was state what the CCTV camera pictures CLEARLY SHOWED! You can't banner actual evidence! Jeez power trip!

I've heard Holloway is like five star hotel HRH, but jking aside your right it would probably send her on a downward spiral.

Hmm yeh I disagree Poppy - nothing would send her back to being a smackhead quicker than a prison stretch.
