Christian Bale loses SILLY amount of weight for film role

This isn't the first time Christian Bale has lost a drastic amount of weight for a film role, but we still find these new pictures of him really shocking. The Batman star is currently filming The Fighter, in which he plays a drug-addicted boxer, and is barely recognisable as the muscle-covered superhero we all know and fancy. While making The Machinist back in 2004, Bale famously dropped over five stone by just eating apples. We didn't like his look then, and we're not keen on it now. Surely all this yo-yoing can't be good for him? What people will do for their "art", eh?
