Katie Price defends her relationship with Alex:
Katie Price is clearly getting sick of all the questions about her new relationship, and it seems she cannot help but snap back when asked about her new man Alex Reid. Talking at a screening of her new ITV2 show What Katie Did Next last night, she became angry when one brave journalist suggested her new relationship came a bit too soon after her split from Peter Andre. "What am I gonna do?" she ranted. "Sit at home when the kids go to bed? I am going to go out. It's not as if I am an ugly girl and can't pull." Katie says she was not at all heartbroken by the split, and in her new show the only small hint of remorse she shows is when she's shown a photo of Pete crying and says she'd like to give him a hug. Alex Reid has admitted this week that he's "in love" with his new lady, but today it was revealed that Katie had a steamy month-long fling with a Brazilian she met in Ibiza, just before getting together with Alex. We certainly won't be putting any bets on her and Mr Reid lasting the distance.
Fury over Chris Brown's "lenient" punishment
Chris Brown was yesterday told he would not be sent to jail for attacking ex-girlfriend Rihanna, but that he must stay away from the Umbrella star. Speaking to the rapper in court, the female judge instructed him to do 180 hours of community labour and attend a domestic violence program. The singer was also fined £3,000. If he breaks any terms of his probation – which includes any contact with Rihanna – then Chris was warned he could be sent straight to jail. The Chief of the US Women's Institute was openly furious with the result, saying, "I think it's terrible. It gives out a negative message to other victims of domestic abuse." Rihanna was not in court to hear the sentencing.
Joe Swash heading back to the I'm A Celeb jungle
It may not be back on our screens until November, but that doesn't mean we're not already getting a tiny bit excited about the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here. This year the reigning King of the jungle Joe Swash will return as a presenter, and he'll be joining Caroline Flack (yes, she of Prince Harry and James Corden rumours) on the ITV2 spin-off show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here Now. The pair will be based in Australia with the rest of the crew, and Joe will be taking part in "adventurous reports", where he'll be trying out Bush Tucker Trials before the jungle-bound contestants. Are you looking forward to this year's series, and which celeb would you like to see covered in bugs?
Channel 4 will be scrapping Big Brother
Insiders at Channel 4 have admitted that the decision has been made to axe Big Brother after next year's series is over. At it's peak, BB was pulling in over 8 million viewers, but this year that has dropped by over half. One source said, "The reality is people are bored with it. Even at Channel 4!" Despite its falling figures, however, in some ways Big Brother is just as good as it's always been. In terms of a social experiment, this year has seen the show go back to basics, and is now more about watching people interact again. Alas, it seems the only way there'll be a BB12 is if the production company manage to flog the show to a rival channel. We're going to keep our fingers firmly crossed. Do you think BB has had its day? And what do you think could be done to make it better?

Well, like U say, all good mothers, if I'm not wrong, have 2 sit @ home whilst their kids R asleep, as we don't all have nannies & millioms of pounds, but then again, I wouldn't swop that for being there when my kids wake from a bad dream wanting me!

Ugh, it makes me so mad when people refer to BB as a social experiment!! It's not at all, you can hardly claim you're thinking about the psychological basis of human-to-human interaction when watching the show, it's just about humiliating people!!
