Ever since Arlene Phillips was given the big boot from the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel, the list of people lining up to support her has been endless. Her poor replacement Alesha has been both slated and totally overlooked in the aftermath. Well, until now, that is. Alesha's former Strictly dancing partner and friend Matthew Cutler has spoken out to defend Alesha, saying, "I'm looking forward to it. I think it will add a new dynamic to the show. I know Alesha very well as you know, and the one thing I do know about her is that she will be fair." He also said we shouldn't worry too much about Arlene, explaining, "I think Arlene will still be a big part of the show and I'm really glad about that, and hopefully the new series will be as successful as the last one or maybe even better." Bless. He's a big bundle of sweetness and joy, isn't he? Roll on the new series!

i think she;ll be similiar to cheryl cole on the x factor, shes been there and knows what it takes to win and what its like to be on stage and how scared the celebs will be, i think she'll do a good job :)

I just don't see how she can judge, seeing as she has only taken part as a contestant in one of the shows and doesn't really have any other expertise in that area.
