Plonk Steve Jones in front of a camera, and he's every bit the professional and more than a little pleasing to the eye, charming us with his dashing good looks and winning smile. But take away the camera, and can Steve still win us over with his wit and personality? Well yes, actually. This week TV presenter and Hayden Panettiere-snogger Steve Jones is braving it in his first ever stint as a radio presenter, sitting in for Janice Long on BBC Radio 2 (12midnight to 3am daily, for those who want to tune in). For those of us who like to actually see Steve (OK, that’s all of us), he has been filming a little video diary of his time on the airwaves to fill us in on the highs and lows of being out of his comfort zone. Put your eyes to good use by watching the clip above and tell us your views.

I've had this mobile number for about 5 years now though. I reckon it's a typo. If it was someone trying to play a mean joke, well, it's not that mean and hasn't worked very well... :o)
