Kerry's friends want her sectioned:
Kerry Katona's closest friends were last night calling for her to be sectioned, after more details of her out-of-control attack on accountant David McHugh came to light. It has been reported that Kerry kicked down the door to his office and threw everything from his desk onto the floor, she then chucked tea in his face and punched him. The reality star lost her temper after being told by advisers that her remaining earnings from her now binned Iceland contract and MTV show would only last a few more months. Friends say Kerry blames McHugh – who was introduced to her by her husband Mark Croft – for blowing large sums of her cash on dodgy business ventures. Last night Kerry was thought to be staying in a hotel, and pals say she's in a real state over what's happened. One pleaded last night, "She's in meltdown – she doesn't need the Priory, she needs sectioning." David McHugh told reporters he was really "fed up", but would not elaborate on what happened during the alleged attack.

Katie's friends ban her from partying
Kerry Katona isn't the only celebrity with concerned friends at the moment, Katie Price has also found herself being told off by her pals, as they worry she's tarnishing her image with the constant partying. The model was supposed to be hitting the capital for a big boozy night out yesterday, but her friends stepped in at the last minute and begged her to have a night at home instead. One pal explained, "Katie has been doing herself no favours of late. She's been photographed out and about, necking back the booze and generally letting off steam." After watching What Katie Did Next on ITV2 last night (did you see it?), it's now clear that Katie certainly does like to let off a bit of steam when she drinks. But flashing clubbers and taunting journalists isn't exactly the best idea in the world, so her friends intervening is probably a very good idea.

Myleene turns down megabucks Botox deal
Myleene Klass has revealed that she was offered a huge sum of money to advertise Botox, but that she turned it down because she doesn't like the idea of "poison" in her body. "I told them exactly where to stick there needles," she laughed. "There is no way I'd ever do it. I'm a wimp – I don't want a knife through my body or anything pumped through me!" The TV presenter also says she doesn't agree with the way former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips has been treated, saying, "The whole idea of ageism in the UK confuses me. Women are put on the shelf."

Cilla Black's new Blind Date show axed
Sky One's answer to Blind Date has been scrapped after just one show – because the audience said they hated it! Loveland, which was hosted by the Blind Date legend Cilla Black, saw contestants turned into computers characters so they could flirt with each other. Confused? We are. And so, it seems, was the audience. One show insider said, "People just did not like the show. They kept asking why we didn't just bring back Blind Date." Why indeed? Well, because Cill doesn't want to do it anymore, apparently. Pleeease Cilla! We'd love Love LOVE to have Blind Date back!
