Robert Pattinson to appear on The X Factor?!
He may come across as all cool and edgy and alternative, but it turns out that Robert Pattinson likes nothing better on a Saturday night than putting his feet up and watching The X Factor. The Twilight heartthrob is said to be a huge fan of the show, and does he best to watch it even when filming over in the States. Judge Dannii Minogue heard about all this, and she has now offered the actor a special invite to come and meet the judges and watch the show live. Nothing to do with the fact that's he's HOT, then. A source reveals, "Rob is a massive fan of The X Factor. He'd love to meet the judges and hang out with them backstage, so he's thrilled with Dannii's offer." As we all know, RPattz is something of a musical talent himself. Maybe he could even be persuaded to do something live on stage. Now that really would get worldwide attention.
Becks keeps his kids on a strict BBC diet
David Beckham has admitted to friends that he encourages his three sons to watch the BBC America channel over in LA, because he doesn't want them to pick up American accents. The footy star told pal Gordon Ramsay that he wants his children to maintain a connection to England, and he believes watching the BBC programmes will help. However, he did joke that he often has to turn over to cartoons when Gordon Ramsay's shows such as The F Word come on air, as the language is a bit fruity for the kids to hear. Gordon Ramsay? Sweary? We don't know what the f***ing f*** he's talking about.
Eminem's ex does a Katie Price
They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and we've lost count of the times Eminem's ex wife Kim has had a scorned-type rant about her famous on/off man. This time, however, Kim has definitely gone below the belt when it comes to insults, saying in a radio interview, "He's not very well endowed. If you're going to have sex with Marshall, make sure you have a little blue pill. Otherwise it doesn't work." Erm, are you sure you haven't swallowed a pill, Kim? A bitter one? She then went on to rant, "I vomit in my mouth whenever I'm around him or I hear his name. I can't stand him." Maybe if his name makes you vomit, dear, you should maybe stop going on about him to anyone who'll listen. All this reminds us of another lady who enjoys slating the size of her ex-flame's areas...coughKatiePricecough.
Star Stories axed from Channel 4. Booo!
They've brought us some of the funniest celeb sketches of recent times, but sadly the Star Stories team have been told the show will not be returning to Channel 4. The comedy series, starring Kevin Bishop, has taken a satirical look at stars such as Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears and Simon Cowell, but now the channel feel its time has come to an end. "It's not coming back as we want to do new things," says an insider. "Everyone decided it had run its course. Poo. We thought it was ace.
