Jack Tweed arrested for 'serious sexual assault'

It's being reported that Jack Tweed was arrested by police early this morning over allegations that he and a friend carried out a sex attack on a girl.

The 19-year-old female is claiming that she was put through a "degrading ordeal" by Jack and his friend at the reality star's flat. She went straight to the police station following the incident and made a complaint.

A police spokesman has just confirmed, "A female in her late teens has made an allegation of sexual assault. The alleged incident occurred in the Redbridge area in the early hours of this morning. Two men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with inquiry and remain in custody at an East London police station."

Tweed and his friend had fallen asleep at Jack's flat after the girl is alleged to have fled, and the property was surrounded by over a dozen officers earlier today.

It is understood that the girl met Jack and his friend at a nightclub and then went back to the flat with them in the early hours. It is there that she says she suffered a "serious sexual assault".

A separate source says, "The allegation is very serious and at the higher end of sexual assaults in terms of its gravity."
