Brace yourselves... There was a Big Brother party this weekend

Fresh from an emotional Friday night spent bidding farewell to Big Brother for another year, heatworld headed over to the O2 Arena for the BB Celebriparty on Saturday night to have a chat with some of the housemates past and present. Now, the night didn't start off well. Thanks to various Tube-related issues, we had to get a boat to the venue, and actually arrived nearly two hours after we'd planned. However, at this point we were so excited about seeing Rex – our crush since last summer – that we gritted our teeth on the journey and vowed to have fun. Alas, Rex had clearly got there much earlier than us, and was completely trashed to the point of slurring and stumbling. He was also dancing on a table in nothing more than skinny jeans and some diamante braces. Just like that, our crush evaporated. Sorry Rex, but it's all about Dale for us now. He was, by comparison, adorably yummy, sweet, and a very good DJ. Yay Dale! Not everyone was as bad as Rex, we actually had a nice chat with Stephanie, managing not to ask why the hell she was wearing that body/hotpants combo, and curly Kris, who we'd expected to loathe but actually liked. Noirin was very sweet too, but she did look a bit too happy that Rex kept pinching her bum. Jonty and Gerry happily served drinks at the bar, while Pete Bennett went around with a camera and Kenneth ordered more vodka by the bottle (loudly, so everyone could hear him). Bex... Well, what can we say? There were all sorts of unmentionables being flashed about and middle fingers being put up, but we didn't really expect anything else. Were YOU at the party?
