Katie and Peter divorced TODAY

Katie and Peter divorced TODAY:
Katie Price and Peter Andre will be officially divorced later today, and their marriage totally dissolved within the next six weeks. A judge is expected to grant the former couple a decree nisi at the High Court in London, and they will then be given a further six-week "cooling off" period where they'll still have the chance to change their minds. After this time has passed, the decree absolute will be granted and the marriage will be over. Katie and Peter have already discussed financial arrangements and agreed to shared custody of their children. Pete signed a pre-nup before getting married to Katie back in 2005, but he has always maintained he doesn't want a penny from her. Rather unusually in this case, both parties had filed for divorce from one another, with Pete getting in just before Katie. A legal source explained, "It's nothing more than a petty snipe from Ms Price. It's her way of saying, 'I am not allowing you to divorce me – instead I am going to divorce you'." Pete didn't seem down in the dumps about any of this when heatworld chatted to him at last night's TV Quick/Choice Awards. In fact, he was looking better than ever.

Jack Tweed on suicide watch

Jack Tweed has been put on suicide watch at Pentonville Prison, after he told a doctor, "If I had a gun, I'd kill myself." Jack is being kept away from the other prisoners while he awaits trial, but there have been a number of threats made towards him by other inmates since he arrived. A prison source explained, "He has been put on an unusually tight watch and has to be checked on every 20 minutes, which is virtually unheard of. The mental health team are taking his threat very seriously." Meanwhile, Jack's friend Ashley Rubin, who was arrested at the same time as him on Friday, has been told he will not face any charges in the alleged "roasting" of a 19-year-old girl.

Corrie star discovered corpse
Corrie star Samia Smith was left shaken yseterday after discovering a man's corpse in the back of a van. The actress investigated after she heard a dog barking from inside for hours, and saw the man's body when she peered through the back window. The shaken star then phoned the police in floods of tears, with one onlooker saying afterwards, "She was crying her eyes out." Samia, who is also eight-months pregnant, is said to be OK, but still very shaken up by the whole thing. Police are treated the death as suspicious. Poor Samia. What an awful shock she must have got.

Amy's dad catches her and Blake in bed
We heard the rumours this weekend, but we were keeping our fingers crossed that someone had got it wrong. Alas, it would appear that Amy Winehouse is indeed getting close to her ex Blake Fielder-Civil again – and her dad even caught them snuggled up in bed together. Mitch Winehouse stormed over to Amy's London pad after a tip-off from a security guard, and promptly threw Blake out. Friends say he's terrified that if the wayward pair spend any more time together, then their drug addictions will take hold again. Amy is finally beginning to sort her life out, while Blake has been spending time in rehab. We must say, we agree with Mitch on this one. If they must see each other, they should at least wait a while longer just for safety.
