Think Carrie Bradshaw, and you think Manolo Blahnik. The two have been synonymous with one another ever since she first strutted down a New York sidewalk wearing a pair of his sky-high heels. In fact, the inclusion of Manolo Blahniks in Sex And The City has been credited for saving the designer's empire, as well as making him a recognised celebrity all over the world. And is he grateful for all this? Erm...no. "If people talk to me about Sex And The City, I get sick," he told The Sunday Telegraph. "The taxi drivers recognise me now. It becomes too much and I don’t feel comfortable. I have never wanted to be a celebrity designer." Oh dear. We bet he doesn't mind all the oodles and oodles of cash that comes with it, though...
