Britney Spears splits from manager boyfriend

Britney Spears is said to be "inconsolable" after being ditched by her manager boyfriend Jason Trawick. The couple had been taking things slowly for some time, but now it seems Britney's reluctance to take their relationship further has driven her man away. One friend snitched, "It's all over and Britney is beside herself. This is the first person Britney has really loved since Kevin Federline. He was a really stable influence on her." The couple were at one stage thought to be engaged, but it later transpired that their relationship was more of a "friends with benefits" arrangement. The friend went on to say, "Britney was dragging her feet. She's still fragile and she didn't want to rush into anything." Oh dear. Still, it sounds as if lack of love isn't the issue here, so hopefully the two of them will manage to resolve their problems and get back together.
