There were some truly AWFUL outfits at last night's VMAs

There must have been a seriously short supply of stylists for last night's VMAs. While some stars looked utterly amazing (look out for our gallery at 1pm to see some examples), others looked...well...absolutely atrocious. Kanye "Big Gob" West's other half Amber Rose decided to dress like a snake for the evening, while singer Cassie chose to ignore the rule that if it's cut to the navel, it really shouldn't be shorter than one of Jodie Marsh's belts. Maybe these ladies were simply trying to attract the attention of host Russell Brand – and how could he not notice Katy Perry's pushed-together bits? Seriously, we're amazed the girl can even breathe! J-Lo's frock could have been alright, if it didn't have that weird satin arm attachment, and Pink should really know better than to cover her nipple with little more than confetti, especially when Janet Jackson was in the building. We doubt Ms Jackson wants any reminders of that infamous "wardrobe malfunction". Maybe you disagree and think these folk look amazing. Have a look through our gallery and tell us your thoughts.
You can watch the VMAs tonight, on MTV at 9pm

OH PLEASE DON'T TELL ME STRANGE AND HIDEOUS CLOTHES ARE COMING INTO FASHION. It's enough having to see Lady Gaga's desperate cry's for attention without seeing these trying to be recognized (as much as I love Jack Black, Pink and Katy Perry...)

Not thinking it's fair to have P!nk in there - that was her performance outfit used on the Funhouse Tour. I doubt she could have done that A-MAZE-ING performance in a Versace creation and Manolos
