Alesha Dixon's Strictly debut – we want YOUR views

Alesha Dixon has found herself at the centre of a critical storm following her debut as the brand new Strictly Come Dancing judge this weekend. It was never going to be the easiest of first days, but poor Alesha has been utterly slammed, with hundreds of disgruntled viewers even demanding that she resign immediately. However, Alesha is refusing to be pushed out, saying last night, "I am not a quitter. It's not in my nature to consider quitting. You can't please all the people all the time." Fans of the show have blasted Alesha's comments, accusing her of knowing nothing about dancing – but, as axed judge Arlene Phillips argues, Alesha was not hired for her technical expertise. "They hired Alesha because they wanted a different opinion," she said kindly. "It is very hard for her – she must be incredibly nervous." I think Alesha will bring something to the show that has not been there before.Someone to give a positive comment to everyone - regardless of how bad they are.She's been there!And now Darcy Bussel is stepping in too....... Interesting!

Oh for gods sake it's a bloody job somebody needs to do it and like all old women they are replaced by younger more vibrant ones who tend to have no clue what they are talking about it's the way of the world. Better a familiar face than a stranger.

awww bless arlene, love alesha dixson but arlene was deffo better, still, strictley is WAY better than this new "improved" x-factor!
